A Musical Presentation of the Passion

based on Traditional Hymnody and Chant

Soul of My Savior is a one hour dramatic musical adaptation of the Passion inspired by classic hymns and chant. Written for large or small choirs, soloists, pianist and handbells. The program takes place some time after the Ascencion, when several of those who witnessed the events are gathered in the garden to share their recollections. John, Peter, Mary Magdalene, Jesus' Mother and Pilot's wife tell give brief monologues along with Simon of Cyrene, a Centurion and others.

The monologues may be performed by the singers or other actors.  Ideal for a Lenten program, Palm Sunday concert, or any other time of the year.  This presentation will touch the listeners in a personal way, bringing the story to life like never before.
